President Cantwell will be engaging the WSU community over the next year to identify opportunities and challenges for the institution moving forward. Several key milestones have been identified for the fall and spring semester.

Engagement Opportunities

Fall 2025

  • Establish a presidential transition (Cougar Compass) team
  • Schedule and hold roundtable sessions for discussion and community-building
  • Identify engagement opportunities

Spring 2026

  • Announce the president’s enhanced and enriched strategic vision based on community feedback
  • Identify and prioritize action strategies
  • Update WSU’s strategic plan for community engagement and feedback
