Presidential Listening Sessions<\/h1>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

In 2026, President Cantwell will gather with various WSU communities for a series of open forums. These conversations will address opportunities, challenges, and institutional priorities, providing a platform for community members to share their ideas, contribute to strategic planning, and support the university’s continued success.<\/p>\n\n <\/div><\/section>\n\n

Questions for Consideration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Five key questions have been selected for focused feedback and discussion in upcoming open forum sessions. President Cantwell would like the community to consider their answers to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. With an eye towards the needs of our future students, what is WSU\u2019s greatest opportunity to provide better education?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Recognizing the rapid pace of societal change and the delivery of education today, what are\u202fthe\u202fgreatest risks that you worry will put the university off course?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. What do you think the President needs to know about the Cougar community? Who are we and what do we represent?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. What are the most pressing research challenges that you think we should be known for over the next decade?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. What is the one thing that you think should define your campus or the WSU System for the next decade?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n <\/section>\n <\/section>\n <\/section>\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n
