Town Halls 2020

ONE WSU: ADVANCING WASHINGTON STATE

Despite the challenges of COVID-19, the 2020-21 academic year offers numerous opportunities for the University to continue advancing its mission to serve the needs of the state of Washington and beyond.

  • Implementation of the WSU system strategic plan
  • Ramped up efforts to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment system-wide
  • Next steps in rolling out Workday

These are just a few of the priorities that will guide WSU decision-makers during the current year. But what does all of this mean to you and your department?

Learn more during Town Halls 2020, a series of 18 virtual get-togethers hosted this fall by President Kirk Schulz and Provost and Executive Vice President Elizabeth Chilton.

The president and provost will make a brief presentation at each town hall before engaging in a dialogue with meeting attendees.

Attend town hall most convenient for your schedule

The upcoming sessions mark the fifth consecutive fall the president’s office will host 15 or more town halls involving each campus, college, and major administrative unit. Upwards of 1,000 faculty, staff, and students annually attend the meetings.

Community members are welcome to attend the town hall most convenient for their schedule.
