Our heartfelt thanks to all of you

Dear Colleagues:

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your hard work and steadfast commitment to WSU during this particularly unique academic year. It has presented a seemingly endless array of professional and personal challenges, and we are profoundly grateful to you and humbled by your determined efforts to serve our students, communities, state residents, and the rest of the University’s stakeholders.

You have gone above and beyond on a continuing basis during COVID‑19, approaching each new challenge with professionalism, grace, and a team-oriented mindset. In short, you have demonstrated Cougar spirit at its ultimate during this unprecedented time in our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

As the academic year sunsets, we hope you will find time this summer to step away and recharge. Your well‑being is of critical importance, not only to the University, but to all the loved ones in your life. Ensuring your health and safety continues to be the foundation on which our decision-making for the future is based.

We anticipate a fall marked by a robust in‑person experience at all of our locations statewide. We look forward to seeing many of you when we visit each campus to help welcome our students back for the semester.

In the meantime, again, please accept our sincere gratitude. You are the heart of the Cougar family that makes WSU a world-class institution.

Go Cougs!
