Commencement Committee

 

Functions:

  1. Reviews and makes recommendations on all aspects of commencement, including ceremonies, related activities, printed materials, traditions, and trends.

  2. Assists with the coordination of the All-University Commencement.

Composition and Tenure:

  1. Four faculty members, at least one representing the Council of Deans, with three-year terms. (F)

  2. Presidents of Graduate and Professional Student Association and Associated Students of Washington State University.

  3. Registrar; one additional member of the Registrar's staff; Office of the Provost;Graduate School; or their representatives. (X)

  4. Transporation and Parking Services, Beasley Coliseum, Educational and Public Media, University Events, and the Office of the President. (X)

The Chair is the Registrar.
