President's Honor Roll
The Honor Roll is especially noteworthy because of the world-class caliber of faculty who teach here and their high expectations of students.
President's Award for Employee Excellence
This award recognizes outstanding contributions to WSU by administrative professional and classified employees from across the state. Five awards are given annually. Each recipient is awarded a plaque and a cash award provided by the WSU Foundation.
President's Award for Distinguished Lifetime Service
This award honors dedicated individuals who have given a substantial part of their career to advancing WSU through excellent service in administration, teaching, research, extension, or a professional field.
President's Distinguished Teaching Award
This award is designed to honor those non-tenure track faculty members who epitomize the highest levels of performance and excellence and who provide such a vital role in teaching WSU students in pursuit of the university's goals and thereby in the fulfillment of its mission.
Faculty Awards Program
This award seeks to recognize truly outstanding accomplishments and exceptional individual achievements of faculty members. The awards are designed to honor faculty members who epitomize the highest levels of excellence in the pursuit of WSU's mission and goals.
Women of Distinction/Woman of the Year Awards
To recognize the achievements and contributions of women to the academic and local community, and to our society, the WSU Women of Distinction and Woman of the Year Awards are presented annually during the National Women's History Month.
Women of Distinction Awardees usually include an alumna, an employee (faculty and/ or staff), a student (undergraduate or graduate), and a woman from outside WSU. All nominees for Women of Distinction Awards are eligible for the Woman of the Year Award, and nominations from all WSU campuses and locations are encouraged.
